History
The Young Christian Academy was founded on 8th of June, 2012 with just 6 members. This was the outcome of prayers and vision of Rev. Heli Aimol and Mr. Benjamin Pamei where the Lord joined them together at a prayer meeting. Their friendship made by the Lord Jesus Christ has brought Young Christian Academy (Gospel Fellowship) to train and shape many young men and women of God for His glory. By the grace of God now some of the youngsters are working in the ministry, while some of them have gone back to their home town and living a good Christian life.
The ministry have been praying for God’s plan and purpose when the Lord gave a vision for a Bible School to Rev. Heli Aimol through Rev. Dr. Badcock, from USA in October 2013, during “Follow Him International Leadership” Conference at Bangkok, Thailand. We could not understand the vision clearly at that time and because of which we didn’t have the courage to start. And so we keep waiting and praying about it.
As time goes by God answered saying, it’s not a time to wait, but it’s time to start and fire out in Jesus name. And in due course of time the Lord sent his beloved son Mr. H. Chingkhei Ngamba to be the first student of YCA Biblical Theological Seminary. We believed it was the Lord who inspired him to approach us with the need to learn more about His word. We were overwhelmed by his willingness, which make us realised that God has open the way to start working on the vision He has given us long time back. Thus YCA Biblical Theological Seminary got founded on 22nd of September, 2018 with one student. The class was started at Pastor Heli’s residence at Vasant Vihar with the humble prayer of Jabez in 1 Chronicles 4:10 “Oh! That you would bless me indeed. You would enlarge my territory. And You would keep me from evil that I may not cause pain.”
We firmly believed that surely the Lord has blessed us, and He will surely enlarge and protect our ministry as we keep working for the extension of His kingdom.
The Word of God says that though your beginning was small, yet your later would increase abundantly Job 8:7. Truly this Word of God is fulfilled in Jesus Christ. He said, I have come that they may life, and that they may have it abundantly (John 10:10). These scriptures have strengthened us and encourage us to start the classes on 24th September 2018.
The YCA Biblical Theological Seminary extends a warm welcome to all applicants and prospective students who seek through training in the word of God. The Biblical Theological Seminary began with the purpose of providing solid Biblical training for young people who felt the call of God on their lives to serve in the ministry. We firmly believed that all things are possible with God and that if we meditate on His Word day and night we will be like a tree planted by river (Ps. 1:2-3) to be a success and a perfectionist in every part and parcel of life in this imperfect world. This is one of our motives to offer solid theological education through correspondence education at both an undergraduate and graduate level for those desiring to serve our Lord Jesus Christ. The theme of our Seminary is “THY WORD IS A LAMP UNTO MY FEET, AND A LIGHT UNTO MY PATH”. Psalms 119:105. “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needed not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth.” II Timothy 2:15.

The Spirit-Empowered Exaltation of Christ and the Glory of God: The central thread of our curriculum and instruction is Christ’s supremacy and sufficiency for his people. Further, Jesus Christ cannot be known apart from his Trinitarian role and relations to the Father and Holy Spirit. Students will learn how to study Scripture, craft sermons, and conduct their shepherding ministry with the goal of making Christ and his gospel known. We desire to prepare men and women who will pursue the glory of the Triune God above all things and give their attention to careful Christ-centred exposition of Scripture.
Pastors Training Pastors: Our mission is to train competent pastors for a lifetime of faithful service to Christ and his church. In order to fulfil this mission, we believe that skilled pastor-theologians should be the ones providing such training. The majority of history’s most enduring theologians were churchmen and because of this reality, all of our professors are theologically-equipped men with significant experience in church ministry. Therefore, each professor brings a valuable and unique blend of academic rigor and pastoral wisdom to the classroom, providing students with a well-rounded theological education.
Commitment to Biblical Inerrancy: At a time when Christian institutions are either abandoning their past commitment to inerrancy or neglecting to make inerrancy a theological distinctive, we believe inerrancy should be cherished and emphasized. A robust commitment to the doctrine of inerrancy will empower a man to preach the Scripture with boldness, counsel the word of God with confidence, and withstand spiritual attack, personal temptation, and doctrinal compromise as he serves Christ in pastoral ministry. In all of our training, we seek to instil in our men a deep love for and unwavering trust in the word of God.
Grounding in the Original Languages: Our commitment to the inspiration and inerrancy of Scripture naturally leads us to prize the study of Scripture in its original languages. Students will be thoroughly trained in Hebrew and Greek and therefore equipped to preach and teach the whole of Scripture with conviction, precision, and theological clarity.
Mentorship
YCABTS students are mentored by pastor-professors who are experienced and fruitful in ministry and who balance academic training with a knowledgeable, practical concern for spiritual growth, and spiritual impact. These men, as the primary instructors of future pastors, elders, missionaries, and church leaders, safeguard the centrality of Christ in all of learning by promoting:
- Love for Him and His people
- Accurate handling of the Word of God that transforms the heart.

LOCATION:
YCA Biblical Theological Seminary is located in Munirka, South Delhi. It is 7-kilometer distance from Indira Gandhi International Airport.
PURPOSE:
The purpose of the Young Christian Academy is to teach, train and empower its students to be truly dedicated New Testament Christians as well as individuals of positive influence for the Kingdom of God in their families, communities and generation.
OUR MISSION:
- To equip its students with skills in Christian Biblical Ministries, Bible Exposition and Ministry in the local Church context.
- To bring each graduate to a place of real and vital relationship with God through His Son, Jesus Christ. As a result, character, integrity and honour will become prevalent qualities of graduates.
- To establish in each graduate a firm revelation and understanding of the essential principles that govern the Kingdom of God as they are revealed in His Word; thus creating an ability to apply those principles independently.
- To cause graduates to understand their responsibility and role in fulfilling the Great Commission of the Lord Jesus Christ.
- To ensure that each graduate is practically trained and equipped with the knowledge and experience necessary to conduct ministry business and family life in a competent, efficient and effective manner.

The YCA BIBLICAL THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY NEW DELHI (YCABTS) is an under-graduate, post graduate, doctoral level theological Institution designed to equip its students with skills in Christian Biblical Ministries, Bible Exposition and Ministry in the local Church context.
I. YCABTS COURSES OFFERED
THROUGH REGULAR – ACCREDITED THEOLOGICAL DEGREES.
Here we offer the following programs through regular as day scholar, part-time regular student — all the following theological Course programmes:
- B.Th., B.Min., BD
- Min., M.Div., MTh, (In Missiology), M.Th., (New Testament)
- Min. Th.D., PhD in Theology.
PLEASE NOTE:
Before admission all the regular applicants will be required to take an English and Bible Knowledge. For B. D., M.Div., M. Th., and Th. D regular programs will be required to take entrance test on a basic Greek and basic Hebrew.
Please make sure that your Secular or Theological mark sheets are extremely important and to be shown in front of the admission committee. Because they will make final decision regarding your admissions only after going through the mark sheets. Therefore we request you to bring all your original certificates and mark sheets when you come for the entrance exam, for our reference.

This is a 3 years course who are applying after completing their 10+2, however if you are a guaduate you can complete this course in 2 years.

5. Doctor of Theology (Th.D)
This is a terminal degree in the academic discipline of theology. Th.D is an advanced research degree equivalent to the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D). Applicant should be completed M.Th in order to apply Th.D.
