You Are Qualified To Be A Minister

The devil has done an excellent job of convincing the body of Christ that they are not qualified to minister to others. If only the pastor is qualified to minister, the devil has reduced the ministry power of a congregation of five hundred down to one pastor! Jesus must have known that was going to happen because He says in Luke 10:21, the harvest is great, but the labourers are few.

They are “few” because people believe the lie of the devil that they are not qualified to pray for the sick or cast out devils or preach because they have not been to seminary for four years! Because of this lie, the church has been reduced to a very small army. The generals are out on the front lines, but all the soldiers are sitting in the pews being hearers and not doers of the Word! (James 1:25). But the Bible says the job of the church is to equip and train the saints and send them out to do what Jesus did! (Ephesians 4:11-12).

What did Jesus do? He cast out devils, healed the sick, and preached the Word (Mark 16:15-18). He destroyed the works of the devil with the truth of God! (1 John 3:8). That is the assignment the church is to continue to do! We are the body of Christ. All of us have a part to play. We are all qualified to finish what Jesus started!

In fact, you need only one qualified to do the miracles that Jesus did. Mark 16:16-18 and 20 says, and these signs shall follow THEM THAT No, God does not need your brains or your money or your degrees. He just needs your obedience to let Him put His power through you! Stop looking at yourself. You are not the power source you are the power line! You are the hand, and He is the hammer. Let Him pick you up and build His kingdom through you!

Think about it… why didn’t Jesus call the top twelve students from the Pharisee seminary to be His disciples instead of a group of common laborers? No, it does not matter whether you finished high school or whether you can read or write. It does not matter if you are the poorest person you know. You pick up your cross and follow Jesus, and God will do the rest! (Matthew 16:24).

Stop listening to the devil or you will never do anything for God. You must resist Satan, and he will flee! (James 4:7). You must resist those lies that make you feel inferior and incapable. Take authority make you feel inferior and incapable. Take authority over the devil in your mind, and command every feeling of fear and doubt to leave you in Jesus name!

Tell yourself what to think. Tell yourself that God has given you everything you need to help a hurting deceived world. Tell yourself you are to rule on this earth as a king and a priest (Revelations 5:10). If God is for you, who can be against you (Romans 8:31). No man will be able to stand before you all the days of your life (Joshua 1:5). The Lord is your strength and your fortress and your refuge! (Jeremiah 16:19).

God is calling you, He needs you! The labourers are few (Matthew 9: 37). He is asking you to pick up your cross and follow Him right now! (Matthew 16:24). He wants to use you to turn this sinful world upside down for Him (Acts 17:6) and break the chains that bind people’s lives with the gospel of Jesus!

Do not wait any longer to do what God has called you to do! Rule and reign on this earth as a child of God (Romans 5:17), a saint (Ephesians 2:19), a chosen one (1 Thessalonians 1:4), sanctified (Hebrews 2:11), justified (Romans 3:24), and glorified (Romans 8:30) in Christ Jesus! Step out in faith, and God will change your life and everything you put your hand to! (Mark 9:23).

Dear friend, never doubt that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you! (Philippians 4:13). Greater is He that is in you than the devil who is attacking your mind and body! (1 John 4:4).

Yes, you are qualified to be a minister. You are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:21). You are a child of the most high God (Psalms 82:6), and there is nothing you cannot do! (Philippians 4:13). In Jesus name, AMEN!
